Happy Birthday Shane!

Today is my husband's birthday. He's old....a whole 5 months to the day older than me. He's very low maintenance when it comes to birthdays. He usually just wants to sit around. No going to the movies or out to a nice restaurant. Which I wouldn't mind at all if he wanted to, its what I like to do. So we are going to just hang out. We did celebrate on Sunday my mom's and his together. Her birthday was yesterday. So, anyway....Happy Birthday Shane! Here's the card I made him. He actually commented on how nice it was...something he does, but not with as much enthusiasm as he did this morning.

I used the retired in color River Rock (you could definitely use Kraft or Sahara Sand) with Brilliant Blue and Chocolate Chip. I also used my textured plate, large polka dot on the Brilliant Blue. Simple, but I love the color combo.

Big Sister T-shirt

I just received my gal S's big sister T-shirt today in the mail. Oh my gosh! Can you say cute!? I've been wanting to get one for her to wear at the hospital and I wasn't having any luck with the stores locally. So I turned to the web. I found this great store called Welcomebaby.com. You can customize T-shirts, onesies, bags, etc....And its not that expensive, especially when you compare them to the children boutiques. I was able to select hair color, type, eye color, skin color and what color I wanted for the name and bows....not to mention the gender. I plan on ordering a onesie for the baby after it arrives.

Good Morning Sunshine Frame

Here's a frame that I received as a Bunco prize when I subbed for my friend Jennie's Bunco last month. She did an awesome job. She used the Good Morning Sunshine DSP. She made several different ones and it was hard to choose which one I wanted.

More Sale-A-Bration Cards

I wanted to try something different last night. So I made a few cards using nothing but one color on each card. I have to say, I really like this. The Bashful Blue is my favorite. Not necessarily the color, but I like the stamp set and the layout. I'm sure I could have added more texture to the Certainly Celery card using the textured plates, but I didn't think about it until after I was finished. I'll probably make more and do that when I do. All of these cards are made with the Sale-A-Bration stamps, DSP and Ribbon Bundle with the exception of the Bashful Blue taffeta ribbon.

Celebrate You

Here's a card I made in celebration of all the celebrations we will be having this month. I've been wanting to make a card using these dimensions 6 5/8" x 3 3/4", well at least I think those are the dimensions. I also used the Pink Flamingo DSP...fun, fun colors. I think I might do something along these lines for the Hostess Club Make and Take. What do you think ladies?
