Make and Take #2 from Regional

Good Morning!

Here is the second make and take from Regional, only I took it first and then made it at home. I don't have a Big Shot, so I got everything cut out before I left. It was a great opportunity to try out the Big Shot and I definitely want one. I've got it on my Christmas Wish List. Hopefully after the first of the year you will see many more projects with it.

The basket is very cute, not really a favorite of mine yet. I modified the tag slightly from the original idea.

Make and Take #1 from Regional

Hi Everyone!

Here is the only make and take I managed to actually finish at Regional. You are just not given a whole lot of time to work on projects. Fortunately I was able to bring everything home. So I'll be posting each project as I get them finished. So far...just three are completed.

I love the ribbon flower. I was never a big fan of the ribbon flower until I made it. So easy and very cute.

Back from Regional

Hey Everyone!
I'm back from Regional. It was a ton of fun and I learned a lot of new techniques. I've attached a few pictures from all that I saw. I didn't complete, but one of the 6 make and takes we were given. Once I get those completed I'll be sure to post them. We really aren't given too much time to work on those, but are given all the directions. There is a nice little surprise below...I'm a little surprised I managed it. It just happen to work out.

Emily checking in.

Me with all my goodies.

Project samples.

The bikini top opens up into a scrapbook page. Very cute! Christie Daugherty from Tyler did this.

This is so cute and its very easy to make. Can't wait to get my Big Shot!

More cute projects.

Me and Emily.

Me and Jeannie.

Test Post

It appears there is a problem with posting comments. This is just a test to see if the problem is on my entire blog or just yesterday's post. Feel free to comment.

Swap #2 for San Antonio

Here is my second swap for San Antonio. I ran out of 1/4" Pretty in Pink ribbon, so I had to use 5/8" Regal Rose ribbon on the last three swaps. To tell you the truth, I wanted to use the Regal Rose in the first place, but I knew I wasn't going to have enough. However, I thought I would have enough of the Pretty in Pink...oh well! So here are both examples.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Sorry for not posting recently. I have been very busy. I'm trying to finish up my swaps for Regional next Saturday, I'm hosting Bunco tomorrow night and not to mention I have my family that I want to spend time with. I promise to post something soon. I'll definitely post my second swap by Friday.

Why, oh why?

Okay....It's been a few days, I know. I've got my second swap basically done, but of course it needs ribbon. As you most likely know I did a Ribbon Share not too long ago and I'm now waiting on the ribbon order's arrival. Of course, I could finish putting the card together if I had the color I needed. However, the UPS man will not arrive until 7:00 tonight. Why, oh why does he deliver so late? He's in the neighborhood during the day...I see him. Why can't he just swing by my house while he's here? What gives? No, he makes me wait until after we've had dinner, gone for our walk and put the gal to bed. By then, I'm beat! I've got ribbon to cute and projects to finish. I just don't understand why he doesn't realize this! I guess its those pesky urgent business related packages that need to be delivered first...whatever. Doesn't he know card making is serious business? Seriously...it is.....well in my world at least.

***Update***
Guess who I saw driving around this morning around 10:00!

***2nd Update***
Package was delivered at 5:34! :)

Stamp Camp Projects

Here are the cards that everyone worked on at Stamp Camp.
This is a variation of one of the cards that the ladies did at Stamp Camp. I've already given the original away.

This was my take on a Thanksgiving card.

I got the idea for this one over at Splitcoaststampers.

This card is a variation of one that I found at Michele Force's blog.

Here's another variation of a very cute card. Here's were I got the idea from.

Very simple Halloween card.
