Cottage Wall Thank You

Here's a thank you card that I made using my new scallop square die (love it!) and I like green and purple together so naturally I like the Cottage Wall DSP. There are some basic elements to my cards if you have not noticed them yet....I usually have DSP and ribbon on all of them. The DSP helps me select colors. Its a quick way to come up with color combos and lets face it, I just don't have a lot of time lately (I'm sure you've noticed how often I'm updating the blog). And the ribbon...well, what can I say...I like ribbon.

I've got the Hostess Club Make and Take on Thursday and the cards are ready. I'll post a sneak peek of them later this coming week.

Thanks So Much

Here's a quick thank you card. Love that Circle Circus set. I'm finding that I really like to use the Kraft CS as my base for most cards. Its a good neutral, therefore goes with pretty much anything. I think its a good idea to have plenty of it on hand. What's even better...to tie the Kraft into the rest of the card, SU! makes the taffeta ribbon in Kraft too! If you've never used the taffeta ribbon you should try it. I especially like to use it on cards that are being mailed, it's not bulky and flattens down nicely. Also great to use on framed projects when you want to use a ribbon under glass.
