Happy Anniversary!

Today is my 14th Wedding Anniversary. I always look forward to this day. I get to spend time with my favorite guy. We will be doing our usual dinner and a movie, but the usual doesn't happen as often as it use to....you know, kids. Anyway, Happy Anniversary Shane! I love this day and thinking back to that special day.

Happy Birthday Liz!

Sunday was my sister's birthday. Since she's actually been to France, Paris to be exact I thought she would like the Chic Boutique stamp set I used on her card.

A Little Note of Thanks

I wanted to make something for the two very generous ladies that lead the boot camp I attend. First of all these ladies offer their time for free and they do it at 5:30 am! I whipped up these thank you's pretty quickly using the note cards and envelopes from SU! They will each get a stack of 6 for when ever they need to send a little thank you.

You Take the Cake

My oldest was invited to a birthday party on Saturday. This is the second one in less than a month and it was for a boy. I'm thinking I need to get more stamps for little boys and girls. I had to make do with what I had, but I don't think I did too bad of a job.

Christmas Banner

Good Morning Everyone! A few of my friends were asking me if I was going to make a Christmas Banner. Yes, I just got to it last night. Like the others this one was easy too.

Christmas Words

Happy December 1st! I can't believe it...this year has flown. As promised another project for the Christmas season....wooden Christmas Words covered in decorative paper. These are so cute on a shelf as a back drop for your Christmas decorations. I made a NOEL for my mom and she has hers displayed in her china cabinet with small candles in front of it. I'll be sure to take a picture and post here.

If you are interested in purchasing these words, they are $6 per letter (approx. $5 shipping). They measure 9 1/2" tall and the widths vary. I do have other letters, so if you have another word or name in mind, just let me know.

Snowman Soup

Many of you have seen Snowman Soup. I discovered it at ChicNScratch. These are super easy to make, especially if you have the top note die. I cranked out 30 of these.

Riverdance

I was fortunate enough last night to attend a performance of Riverdance with my family. Can I just say, "WOW!". The music, the singing, and of course the dancing....just amazing. This is the farewell tour. So, if they are coming to a theatre near you I highly recommend seeing them.

Stay tuned....

I will be posting several new projects in the coming weeks. I'm working on teacher gifts, coworker gifts and lots of other fun things.

I'm also anxiously awaiting my copy of MDS (My Digital Studio) to arrive. It should be here on Friday. I have several projects planned that I will be using it for, my blog, Christmas cards, birthday invitations, and a couple of showers.

I have my Hostess Club Make and Take coming up next week so I'll be posting those cards soon as well.

Hope everyone is having a great Fall....I can't believe its already November. The weather has been great here this past week. I know that its a welcome change to all the rain we've received recently. I guess we were making up for the lack of it this summer.

Happy Wednesday!

Stamp Camp

Here are the cards and 3D items we made at Stamp Camp on Saturday.

Both the candle and card were inspired by Stampin' Success.

This one was inspired by Linda Walsh at SplitCoastStampers.

This was inspired by Becky Roberts at Inking Idaho.
Pretty much CASEd this one from Angie Juda. Just added a few things.

My Red Trays

I collect vintage red barbecue trays.

This was my first one. Actually belonged to my dad before he and my mom got married.

I recently added these two, found on Ebay.

These trays were made by a 1950's female architect named Marcelline Stoyke. I think they are pretty cool. If anyone knows more information about the artist or where to get more please let me know.

Make and Take

Last Thursday was my Hostess Club Make and Take. Here are the two cards that I came up with.

I like the Thanksgiving one, its a little different. I'm not sure about the Halloween one. Every time I try to do something different I end up thinking it doesn't look so great.

Lacey's Stamp Camp

Yesterday I was able to attend Lacey's Stamp Camp. She did an awesome job. Lots of great cards. The food was fabulous too. Those who didn't make it really missed out. Thanks Lacey, it was fun!

My door prize!
