Stamp Camp

Here are the cards and 3D items we made at Stamp Camp on Saturday.

Both the candle and card were inspired by Stampin' Success.

This one was inspired by Linda Walsh at SplitCoastStampers.

This was inspired by Becky Roberts at Inking Idaho.
Pretty much CASEd this one from Angie Juda. Just added a few things.

My Red Trays

I collect vintage red barbecue trays.

This was my first one. Actually belonged to my dad before he and my mom got married.

I recently added these two, found on Ebay.

These trays were made by a 1950's female architect named Marcelline Stoyke. I think they are pretty cool. If anyone knows more information about the artist or where to get more please let me know.

Make and Take

Last Thursday was my Hostess Club Make and Take. Here are the two cards that I came up with.

I like the Thanksgiving one, its a little different. I'm not sure about the Halloween one. Every time I try to do something different I end up thinking it doesn't look so great.

Lacey's Stamp Camp

Yesterday I was able to attend Lacey's Stamp Camp. She did an awesome job. Lots of great cards. The food was fabulous too. Those who didn't make it really missed out. Thanks Lacey, it was fun!

Halloween Banner

In my previous post I mentioned that I was inspired. I'm so loving the Cherry Hill Cottage blog. Tina Smith has such a beautiful home, very cozy and sweet.

Her daughter made a very cute Halloween banner and I thought, "I can make one" and I did.

It took almost no time to make. Just cut the Pumpkin Pie CS with my scallop square die, some retired Halloween DSP with the scallop circle die #2, and the letters for Halloween with my large Serif alphabet dies, then assembled. I used some cute black and white gingham ribbon to string it together and added some retired Old Olive buttons to finish it off.

I'm inspired

Lately I've been feeling overwhelmed. My full time job is consuming my days so much that I'm just worn out by 5:00. I have almost no energy to do anything but fix dinner for my family, play with my girls and head to bead. I'm sure you've noticed that the blog post have been pretty scarce.

Well I just got back from Canton today. I've mentioned Canton before, see this post. I went with my friends Jennie and Emily and met my BF Aimee there. I love Canton, the new, the old, the junk. I'm renewed, I'm inspired. I'm already planning my next trip.

I visited some of my favorite spots and found new ones. One of my favorite stops is LaurieAnna's. She has a new store and I had to stop off at it. It was just like the booth at Trade Days, crammed full of great stuff. Checking out her website I've come across some new blogs in the process and wanted to share them you.
