Hostess Club Make and Take
Today was the final Make and Take for the Spring/Summer Hostess Club.
This first card, some of you may recognize from Stampin' Success (wonderful resource). The second card is very similar to another card in SS. Rather than using the flower that was shown I opted for a butterfly.
A couple of pics of the ladies working on their cards.

Some thank you's....
Here are a couple of thank you's I whipped up real quick. You know, I think I might do a class on just thank you's. I never seem to have enough. Is anyone else in this boat? I guess its a good boat to be in...

Look what I got!
Aren't these beautiful?! My husband gave me these (yellow is my favorite color of roses) for my birthday....which is Monday! I'm getting to do one of my favorite things, but don't get to get to do very often....go to the movies! We are going to see The Proposal today and The Ugly Truth on Monday night. Kind of chic flickish, but he's cool with that....that's why I love him! We are also having fajitas with the family this evening after movie #1....yum!

Thanks So Much
Here's a quick thank you card. Love that Circle Circus set. I'm finding that I really like to use the Kraft CS as my base for most cards. Its a good neutral, therefore goes with pretty much anything. I think its a good idea to have plenty of it on hand. What's even better...to tie the Kraft into the rest of the card, SU! makes the taffeta ribbon in Kraft too! If you've never used the taffeta ribbon you should try it. I especially like to use it on cards that are being mailed, it's not bulky and flattens down nicely. Also great to use on framed projects when you want to use a ribbon under glass.

Melon Mambo Medallion
I really love the Medallion stamp. I knew right away when I saw it, I was going to get it. It's great when you want to make a really simple card. Here's one of the card I came up using the Medallion and the Melon Mambo CS.
