Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 65

I had a few minutes on Sunday to try the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I busted out a new stamp set from the Summer Mini, Elements of Style.

Birthday Card Class - Card 5

Another masculine card. I was sad to see that Brocade Blue was being retired. It's such a nice soft color and works well with Chocolate Chip.

I've really enjoyed the Cottage Wall DSP. I got the sketch for this card from one of my issues of Paper Crafts Magazine.

The Color Renovation

I'm sure most of you have heard about the Color Renovation going on with Stampin' Up! If not, here goes. SU! has decided to streamline their color families. I really like the idea...sad to see some of them go, but am excited about the new system. There will be 5 new In Colors introduced every year and they will hang around for 2 years, so there will always be 10 In Colors available every year. I hope that made sense? Anyway, here are the colors that will be introduced in the catalog this summer.

Do you recognize some of them? SU! is bringing back some previously retired In Colors!

Happy Easter everyone! What a glorious day! I hope yours is filled with joy as we celebrate the rising of our Lord.

Here is the Easter card I sent my family. I pretty much CASEd it from Aly Shillings. When I saw it on her site I knew I had to recreate it. I made just a few modifications. You'll see what they are if you pop over to her site.
