My Red Trays

I collect vintage red barbecue trays.

This was my first one. Actually belonged to my dad before he and my mom got married.

I recently added these two, found on Ebay.

These trays were made by a 1950's female architect named Marcelline Stoyke. I think they are pretty cool. If anyone knows more information about the artist or where to get more please let me know.

Hey there, these are actually from my Grandmother, Marcelline Stoyke. I'm also an artist, and my family collects her old pieces. If you'd like any information, I'd be more than happy to talk about her to you or get you the contact info of my aunt who actively collects her pieces.

My email is mmorgan.mac@gmail.com

I'm so glad you love her work; she has been my inspiration for my whole life.

Hi, I'm the daughter of Marcelline Stoyke, the designer of the 7 re chef barbeque trays. My Dad Gene, is the chef (he was the architect. Many elements are from our family home. Mom designed for Social Supper (these and many more trays). She also designed for Pickard china, Sears, Melmac, Stotter, Heisey, and Federal glassware, even designed roof ventilators. If you're still interested in learning more about our Mom's pieces catch up with Meg and we'll make sure you get info! Thanks, Chris Stoyke Linnell

I have one of these trays! The round BBQ - and I ADORE IT. Did she also make my FABULOUS childhood memory tray, "Let's Klatch" with a PA Dutch theme? I just bought a BBQ tray on ebay for my brother as a wedding gift - so he, my sister and I each have at least one Stoyke tray!

I found my BBQ tray at a local garage sale. Mine came with a metal tri-pod stand. Any idea if the stand is original to the tray or something that somebody else added later?

My son just bought the patriotic tray at a garage sale. I'm thrilled that it's so beautiful! Any idea when they were made?
